MANILA, Philippines–ZUS Coffee scored its biggest franchise win with a 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20 upset of Chery Tiggo in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
Seasoned hitter Jov Gonzaga soared with 20 points, 17 coming from attacks, apart from 15 excellent digs to allow the Thunderbelles to level their record to 4-4. Chai Troncoso provided 18 points as well as 16 excellent receptions while Thea Gagate contributed 13 points.
